Tiptronics bring less, cabriolets bring less, and accident history brings much less, but $35K for a well sorted, current-on-service, low mileage 996 Turbo is about as good as your going to get, especially if you want tiptronic...

The X74 is just different exhaust tips, the dual-looking round tips instead of the oval.

make sure you hold out and get exactly what you want. if your heart is not on a cab, then do not get a cab. Its worth the wait and you will have no regrets. I follow my own advice.

I think both the seller and buyer did well here.

Totally agree, $45K+ fees is right about market for a car like that, given it checks out.

SOLD ON 4/24/18 FOR $44,996

Gotta love that sale price!

I actually like it, but I have always been on the odd side of color combinations. I spoke with the owner and came close to a deal. My buddy in the bay area set eyes on the car as well. Paint is original and excellent. (Original except bumper covers which have been sprayed but done very well). The interior is ok but faded and the dash has slight shrinkage. IIRC Lowered and Black wheels are only mods. 8k in work last year to get up to snuff including new tires. Have the invoices he sent somewhere on the computer. Nice guy and nice car, just couldn't agree on price. Still may bite on his last offer though.

Like new condition with no modifications.
original paint and no dents or scratches ever
no wear on the interior

never driven in the winter or off paved roads
I've had no problems with this car.

I just don't drive this car enough so I am going to pass it on.

I will gladly respond to all emails that include a name and phone number.

Yeah, he just responded to me. I said I have questions, but want to know what price range / price point your at first. His response was send me an offer. I don’t understand his logic. Just put it on eBay or BAT at no reserve if you don’t want to start the bidding some where near where you want to end up. Or if it’s so clean post here, I’m sure it would be gone at $50-60k depending on condition.

If I were in the market for a 996 Turbo, those photos would not prevent me from investigating that car.

I also had one very brief email interaction with the seller WAY back when he first listed the car... I can't remember the details but the seller left me with the following impressions: 1) A difficult to work with seller with little interest in communicating with potential buyers, 2) wanted a premium price for the car, and 3) a very *unmotivated* seller.

Maybe he has softened a bit in the six months or so he's been trying to sell the car.
