2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Manual transmission. - cars & trucks - by... (craigslist.org)

This 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.
The car is finished in black over matching leather. Very clean and beautiful interior.

The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six has been modified with an Ultimate Motorwerks ECU tune, SharkWerks bypass valves, and a Speedtech Performance exhaust system. An oil change was performed in December 2022, and the selling dealer notes that the fuel filter, spark plugs, and ignition coils were replaced in September 2018.

The car features xenon headlights, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and polished exhaust outlets as well as wider rear bodywork, rear air intakes, and revised bumper covers in comparison to the contemporary Carrera. Clear corner-marker light lenses have been added along with Rennkit eRam spoiler rams.

The 18″ BBS wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires, and the removed Turbo Twist wheels are included in the sale. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential, and Eibach front and rear sway bars. Braking is from red calipers over vented and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The heated sport seats are upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels, and the cabin features an aluminum-accented shifter and handbrake lever. Equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, fiber floor mats, LED interior lighting, wiring for a radar detector, and a Kenwood infotainment screen with a backup camera and an aftermarket amplifier.

PPF Wrap on front half of vehicle.
ECU tune.
Performance exhaust.
Performance wheels and tires.
Great condition inside and out.
Great tires.
Lots of power and fun to drive.
Lots of quality parts and labor.

Very nice, seems like a great deal for all those upgrades + Promotive work

A few cosmetic issues but easily resolved

Looks like the driver's side headlight has been replaced, so it may have some accident history. Not a huge issue - mine had a minor accident on the left front in 2007. So, I have the same mismatched (in terms of color) headlight issue. But, it was a minor accident, so the only difference to me was that the car was cheaper to purchase. But, something to keep an eye on - sometimes Carfax misses accident history.

These are some lovely examples. Prices are a little on the high side. I found a Turbo S cab for 67 and that’s a bit high.

Cab + tip are the large discount factors to 996tt S's, if you don't mind either a great deal awaits

Specs sell the car and demand the value, no different from other low production models

Nice example 996tt S's have sold upwards of 150k

Is this a real Turbo S? Carfax and vin come back as a Turbo. Not sure if "Turbo S" should be in the model name or not. Regardless, questionable mods and high mileage, definite pass on that price

That's a pretty rare bird - only about 180 '05 S coupes brought to the US. Dick Barbour is a legit small dealer - and, yes, it's that Dick Barbour. I sold my '75 914 to them last August. It is Dick and his son that run the small dealership. I had a great experience with them.
