Not a find in the sense of a good deal, quite the opposite, but I wanted to show it as I think it's interesting.
Behold - a 110k mile tippy X50 with FOUR accidents, asking $46k. It has some nice options but with four collisions I wouldn't touch it for $10k off the ask price.

The ad doesn't even say X50 at the top, most people are going to laugh and close the page before they get to read it buried deep into the copy.

If anyone is in the market for a well cared for driver's car, I have a friend in the Seattle area looking to sell his '03 6-speed with 65k miles. Arctic silver with black interior, mostly stock aside from Markski tune (maybe billet K16s with a very mild tune?). Well maintained and rarely driven, but probably needs a few minor things like all 996s do. He's looking to get $65k. Shoot me a PM if you want more details or info to get in touch with him.

Interesting car, to say the least: X50, but with a Tippy. Very well optioned - alumalook package, sport seats with painted backs, carbon fiber package. Nice color combo.
But then the accident history. Carfax shows one as a $500 or less damage to the front of the car, and the other one was to front left of the car with vehicle drivable. But no info on the other 2 accidents.
I actually like the wheels.
Assuming the other 2 accidents were minor, I'd think it would make a good driver for someone wanting a Tippy, probably in the range of $38,000 sale price.

There's a nice 2001 996 turbo on the Facebook Group "Porsche 911 (996) turbo"
98K miles, 6spd, Seal Grey / Grey coupe asking @ $50K with some nice maintenance.
Unfortunately, can't link to the post directly.

Bummer about the coolant lines not being done with the engine out though

Same here. I have a friend in the market, and I told him about it the day it was listed. He decided he would rather have a 997S, though (I know, I know . . . ). At sub-$50k, that's almost "buy it & flip it next spring" territory (I've got a dealer's license).

Agree... Under $50K for a nicely sorted 996 Turbo in a nice color is a strong BUY, even with ~100K miles.
If I didn't already have two.... (but if it was local, I'd likely jump up to 3!)

Is the accident on the Carfax affecting it that much or is it a sign of market cooling ?

The car is a good deal but the seller has a Turbo Aerokit rear spoiler and those are impossible to find. I surprised it hasn't sold. I have had several people ask to buy mine in the last year.

Well, I agree with you, so much so that I now own two. I fly to Chicago first thing Saturday morning to pick it up and drive it home. I’m not exactly sure what I am going to do with it, but felt like it was too good of a car at that price to pass on. I have had several people ask me where to find a good 996tt and also try to buy mine (sorry, but I will never sell my ‘02 X50), so I figure I will keep it for a while. Sooner or later, I will sell it, but am in no hurry.
