I think a GT3 would make a good daily; I'm really fond of well tuned NA motors, so running thru the gears would be fun, for me at least.

Yeah...that one. We bought a Rav4 to replace it, and it was just sitting around. Car needed probably 10k to make it PERFECT (oil leaks, transmission starting to slip, rear subframe could probably use replacement in the next few years), and with that money, we bought a car with no issues on the horizon and no major rust issues...
I told him to sell the car back to me when he's done with it....

My daily has to carry a boatload of open house signs so all 911's are out for that usage. Although the new 911's are huge, maybe they would fit in a 992 GTS...

Yes, not so practical in that scenario.

I'm really impressed you got the OEM one off without destroying it; I destroyed mine, and the new one to replace the destroyed one, then went to the body shop.
Looks good!

Thanks! No idea how I got it off without breaking all the clips. Crazy though how many of these you went through!

If it's a trim piece and needs replacement, and I try and do it myself, more damage usually ensues.
I really like how those look on the car.

Is there such thing as bump steer? Every time I hit a bump I feel hit.

Topped the oil up, took it for a run out to Steveston... Southbound, not so good as a Horseman pulled in front of me as I came off the bridge... Thought he'd tag me for no front plate, he didn't. He intentionally ran 10kms under the limit, and of course everyone stayed behind him.
Northbound though, was much more pleasant. I think one of the things that is truly admirable about our platform is that it can easily make the power of the newer Porsche products, but you can snickety snick through the gears ...
Cannot wait to try it rwd.
