finished pinning/RMS/clutch/fw on a customer's 6TT today

had a great call yesterday with Kevin @UMW and my buddy Chris discussing some piston/liner options Kevin has for Chris' engine rebuild, Kevin's birthday was yesterday-hope he's having a great weekend
looking forward to getting that engine built up and off on its long roadtrip home to Texas

might play with some alignment settings on my '2 later today if I have the drive

Tried to buy some av gas, they said no.

They also said no to me doing a speed run on the 4800' runway, which, although understandable, is a little disappointing.

that's weird they wouldn't sell you AVgas... i can walk right into the airport with a 5 gallon jug and they don't question me... it smells so great with no cats though... it's how a car should smell and sound...

So stopped for a drink on the way back from flight school, came out, the car wouldn't start, no voltage.

Hated to do it, but I bump started it, got it home into the garage, shut er down, started right up, no issues....

The only thing that was different, was that the wing was up manually when I parked it.

I'll load test the battery tomorrow, but is it possible that the wing was drawing that much juice when up?

Otherwise, this car is a champ.

Interesting.... Sounded like no juice in the battery, which is a year old, so i am curious, how does a starter have a dead spot?

Wing draws zero current except when raising or lowering...

I used a lithium booster for the first time recently (available on Amazon, etc.) they work very well, are small, light and powerful. I will be keeping one in the cars from now on.

Was wondering if there was an issue with the rennlkit board and if it continued to draw current when I manually raised it...
