And, my option list. Pretty spartan spec. Note, no X50.

So this means my car has:

X71 - Aluminum look pack
370, 375 - Electric Sports Seats L+R, 2 way
539/540 - Mechanical Seat Height Adjustment, L+R

However, I've added:
8-way Power Seat
Porsche Crest in Headrest
Seat heaters
Aluminum Door sills
Is the image of the wheels reversed? It looks as though they've painted "Porsche" the wrong way IMO

Good question.

If not reversed, then the "Porsche" is the wrong way.

No wonder it was a good price.

Just side markers from the factory; no blinking.

I saw this immediately. I recently refreshed a set of GT3 brakes to install on my car and spent plenty of time to ensure the emblem was facing the right way. I just didn't want to frustrate the owner....

Now officially frustrated. It's all good, though - I'll have them put (new) stickers on the right way when they ceramic coat them in 6 weeks.

Thanks guys!

I'm surprised I didn't even notice it.

I thought that was for the 997.

Lights should blink, if required. Every other car I have that is equipped with those lights, they blink.

Blinker side markers were not required in the U.S. when the 996 Turbo was produced.

Based on my observations, manufacturers shouldn't be installing direction/turn signals on any vehicle. The majority of people I see never use them anyway (which is unfortunate.)

Side markers can't be programmed on the 996.
USA cars have them wired to the marker light and ROW cars have them wired to the turn signal. This is done with a "welded connection" in the wiring harness.
Of course it can be changed by modifying the wiring harness.
