I just tack-weld all the bolts on my exhaust parts to keep them from backing out.

The Turbo is being detailed and ceramic coated today. There aren't any before pictures - but it's been "winter" driven for the past six or so weeks without a wash, so I think the difference will be quite a bit. The detailer is using the GYEON products. I'll post pics when I get it back tomorrow.

To be properly coated with any ceramic it needs to cure for at least a couple of days before it sees wet, and a couple of weeks before you wash it.

Interestingly, on the new burban, despite being properly polished and having 5 coats of ceramic on it, I still had to soap and water it in order to get road grime off. I do not know if this is normal, but I am curious as to why, so I am interested in hearing more about your thoughts on it when you get it back.

Fingers crossed ... got to say that project is quite interesting to me.

Same stuff I use on the 991s CLs.

UPS delivered a new right and left radiator yesterday. I was so excited.
They arrived damaged

Neither box stood a chance. No packaging. Behr Boxes. Packaged in Germany. What’s the point of reordering???

I don’t want to spend 2x as much for CSF.

Recommendations?

The CSFs are guaranteed for life, maybe worth the premium?

Bit the bullet. Bought R + L CSF radiators from Warehouse 33. $1100 OTD w/ “Rennlist” coupon code. $350 more than Behr. Works for me. Hopefully they arrive safe!

Buy the CSF radiators at least for the sides. Worth it to have aluminum vs plastic top, bottom, and hose connection. I wiped one out with a cone at autocross.
