What did you do to your 996TT today?

The wheel was done by a custom wheel fabricator, but I'm a bit hesitant to recommend him. The work looks very good, but it was a hassle getting him to actually complete and deliver the wheel, or even communicate, well past payment and the original completion date. PM me if you are daring and patient, though as I said, no complaints about the workmanship now that I actually have it.
.
I took a Scosche adhesive Magic Mount and stuck it to an extra low profile USB outlet I had... Worked perfectly and is still working great a couple of years later. Actually a better mount position and better grip on my phone then the notably more expensive Rennline mount below it. You obviously can't use the usb port under the mount, but I have several other USB ports I can plug into.
Stick A on B, voila!
What mount is that in the cig lighter? i need another magnetic mount in the car

thanks i have both of those. i may try it. i need two mounts, one for my phone and one for the cobb.
with the new phones all having qi charging, you would think they would produce a cig adapter that has the qi charger built into the mount.

that wheel looks just like the DCTMS offerings http://dctms.com/index.html
i was never a fan of those reworkings - but i scored a raid/atwie same as the fvd. so i'm partial.
oh yeah. back OT. ordered some p zeros to go with my newly retrofitted AWD car. hoping they grip in snow. a little.

That is always unfortunate when that happens. It does look the part, though. The flat bottom is very nice to have.

I really shouldn't complain since it's the first thing that's broken in my Turbo in a while, but I flipped down my visor today and was greeted with a broken mirror cover falling in my lap... Now I've used the vanity mirror in the car exactly [never] times, and don't plan on ever using it, but I also don't like anything broken on my cars. A bit pissed off it's ~$100 bucks for a non-lighted replacement.

After several weeks of having 10 tons of retaining wall blocks in front of my garage door (landscaping project) my car finally broke free yesterday and my son and I got to go for a nice long drive. I also pushed the odometer past 110,000 miles yesterday.
