none dare call it a conspiracy.

Why are you running mismatched tires? Just run RT615k+ all round. Or p zeros all around. Yes, the rt615k+ is going away, replaced with the new rt660.

i already had the p zeros and was unable to locate any rears in time.

i've run this setup before. but with ps 3's in front.

Although the 615+ has a lower speed rating, it is most certainly stickier than the Pirelli.

i've run a cpl sets of the rt615k+ rears ( never fronts ) and they are "ok" not great. but for 270 a pop and since our choices are being diminished and i needed them NOW.

i figured i'd better grab 'em. i go through about a set a year - now that my driving is greatly reduced. used to go through 4 rears a year when i was "pushing it".

I finally got new shoes on after a bit of drama. To top it off when I finally got everything I needed the other day it snowed on me. Everything is working against me on this. Now I need to drop the rear coilovers as they are sitting at not quite 26.5". Fronts are at 25.5".

Treated myself to the GT shifter, ordered from Sunset using their holiday sale. It finally arrived, USPS shipping was slow- 2 day priority took a week. Not Sunset’s fault though. It will get installed this weekend.

I would not use nylon locknuts - as you found they're not so great at high temperatures.
I use copper-plated distorted thread locknuts. M8 x 1.25 they are easy to get, even Amazon has them. They're also used on most VW exhaust manifolds, no need to pay Porsche prices.

I had the exhaust nuts, i put them down somewhere and couldnt find them, the nylon locknuts were used to drive the studs in and i have a bunch so i put them in place for when i find the exhaust nuts or get more, the torque nuts youre referring to tear threads up from my experience.

Your turbos are in really good shape, my passenger side one looks like it was chewed up and spat out.
