Definitely for a Turbo, it wouldn't fit at all of it were for a narrow body. Probably just not a very good copy. I bet you can make it work with a little fiddling.
Rob- any issues with registering a LHD vehicle there?
None what so ever. The most difficult part is passing the headlight aim test during the bi-yearly inspection. But that's usually my fault for messing with my ride height.
The annoying bit is often having to get out and walk around to toll gates and parking machines positioned for RHD cars.
Apart from that all pluses. LHD car have higher resale prices.
I love all the 'kei' cars, then 'turbo', with a little 'Audi' thrown in for good measure. You must be popular in your neighborhood...
Being the only foreigner for kms/miles isn't enough. I have the only house with no kids, 3 cars and all German. For some reason the kids like playing right in front of my house. So most days I have to move their play things off the street when coming or going.
Thankfully they aren't intrusive.
I think only 2 guys wash their cars. 1 guy has a Caddy CTV? But it's a 2.0 turbo. His wife won't let him have anything faster.
Feel sorry for Japanese gear-heads. Their displacements, money and playtime is severely controlled by their wives.

Oh dear. While testing the rear wing, yes much more down force and stability, the coolant light came on.
Yes. I was me-too'd by my car.
I got it off the highway to find coolant around the right side of the Y pipe.
Guess I'll start a new thread,
DIY ing coolant pipes in the land of the rising sun.
I think as these cars age (mine will be 20 years old next year!) dealing with the coolant fittings will be a necessity for all Mezger cars, not just cars that get driven hard.
I had a pretty old and abused clear bra on the front of the car. I have been spending time removing. After about 6-8 hours, the bumper is rid of it (needs to be cleaned after removal), and I am now working on the hood.
before (lots of scratches and spidering)
mid way, things were looking really good:
and the final (pre washed) version of the bumper. I am just amazed how well the clear bra worked. The bumper underneath looks incredibly good for 100k miles!!
more to come soon after I get the hood and fenders removed, car washed, etc. trying to get to a clean slate for a paint correction and ceramic coat.
