I spend very little time looking at my 996 Turbo's engine, so ugly is fine with me.
The engine can be ugly given how well it performs (I have known guys who think about women the same way.)

If you're in San Diego, I recommend them (Vollig).

Oddly the other day I was thinking, damn I'm tired of not being able to see my engine on my GT3... it like boring to not be able to see anything. Yet my buddy has a a cool looking V8 and can pop the hood and geek out on it.
