I thought I posted them before when I was taking things apart for the windshield replacement, but perhaps not. I was going to replace the cowl as well due to the seal being loose before I realized it's a separate part.

I don't know how well they will hold up but I can see about making some more. The cross holes were drilled but I could leave them blank for using whichever fastener you have on hand.

I don't mind doing some mild customizing or work to fit them. Looks like a great solution to an annoying issue.

Check the camber eccentric bolt too.

See post #11 below.

That certainly could be an issue, I did find the eccentric locknut was loose enough I could turn the eccentric by hand. I plan to keep an eye on this one pending a major suspension overhaul.

If the eccentric bolt was slightly crooked when tightened, once it slips, the nut will be loose.

Ah yes I see what you are saying now. I rock the eccentrics a little to get them settled down. I will still keep an eye on it. The eccentric inside the subframe is not easy to see.

I had my eccentric slip too, even with the Elephant Racing toe lock out plates...

First wash since getting a paint correction and ceramic. I have a system I follow to not get any swirls.

Pressure wash
Foam cannon
Pressure wash again
Foam cannon again
Fresh microfiber on each panel, I keep them in a zip lock bag in a tote and wash them with microfiber towel wash after every use and let them air dry
Pressure wash again
Dry with air dryer

Ive used this method on my S4 and its still swirl free 3 years after getting corrected and ceramic so it seems to be working.

Black is tough to maintain but looks amazing right after cleaning. I have used my pressure washer a few times on vehicles and it doesn't seem to do much compared to scrubbing with a mitt. I try to scrub front to back in lines to avoid swirl marks. I use a leaf blower or handheld Makita blower to get as much water off as possible before using a waffle weave drying towel. Are you drying completely with a blower?

Which front lip is that?

Black isn't a color, it's a lifestyle...

Yep. I have owned a black vehicle. The pollen here is real bad in the spring. Yellow on black, not friend of Jack.

I am trying to clear an airbag light with my Foxwell NT630. This is not a Porsche specific scantool. For the regions (USA, Japan, Europe, etc.), do those correlate to the manufacturing location or codes specific to those regions? Probably a dumb question but I don't want to fry anything.

I opened the fuse block in my new to me ‘05 turbo S

to be certain how to use the dead-battery system as well as plan to purchase some spare fuses.

I love this car, the block was beautiful and included table of fuse positions, perfectly brief graphic instructions for battery boost, and - wow- a fuse puller with spare fuses in every amperage needed!

It’s another I Love Porsche feature
