i am sorry to be the one to say it, but you're getting your clock cleaned at a dealer who charged you 325 for swapping the accumulator. it's a 30 min job.. AND you supplied the part and fluid? yikes.
the trans fluid swap is 3 qts so you should have one left. dont overfill it!
I spent several days trying to loosen the accumulator. It didn't budge and I didn't want to break or round off the "nut". It was well worth the money for me considering I could have broken something and spent more on it.
I don't think I overfilled the tranny. I pumped oil in it until it poured out and then I waited for a while until the drips stopped. According to the service manual, it's a little over 3 qts (3.17qts according to google). I also made certain that the vehicle was level!
I will check the level again when I am replacing the diff fluid this weekend.
BTW, fill capacity for diff is 1.5 litres.

i certainly understand that. the accumulator in mine has been changed so often that there is little chance of it not budging thanks for the clarification on fill levels. 3 qts is always what i've used. if anything i guess i'm under by .17 lol

I did transmission oil change and front differential oil change last year and bought 5 liters of the expensive fluid PTX 75W90 at $44.00 a liters here in Montreal...I did not have enough of 5 liters...Just a little bit over...About 5 1/4.....
Finally got my hands on some cheap used stock manifolds that will get ported and ceramic coated. I'm also going to send the extra K16s in for 16G upgrade and ceramic coat the exhaust side. Does anybody know if the exhaust side needs porting for the 16G wheel clearance? I don't want to take them apart again for coating after the rebuild.
thank you very much. i mean the windshield? do you recall the cost and was it a dealership?
i ask because i need a windscreen replaced and its beyond what safelite can ( or will? ) do.
i just use dealerships in a LAST resort and they have to drag me inside the building.
It cost me ZERO because in South Carolina glass is a zero deductible claim. However, the installer mentioned that the OEM glass cost from the dealership came in at about $2,000.
Don't people pay a bit higher preiums to cover that? Generally speaking, there are rarely "zero" costs.
Who knows? But at $450/yr for full coverage 50K stated value, no restrictions, my so-called 'higher premiums' have been a bargain any way I look at it.

Just passing along what I was told by the installer. A quick call to the parts counter at Porsche would answer the question empirically. So ... I called the dealer and was quoted $758.
Therefore, either the installer was azz raping the insurance company or... I misheard what I was told. In all fairness to the installer .... I was snorting coke off a hooker's breast at the time so it's possible I misunderstood the number I was given.

And they would likely be lower if SC didn't require "no cost" windshield replacement from insurance providers.

My information was provided as just another data point...
I looked at my invoice and I paid $789.19 for the windshield, which included the adhesive and trim. The installation was $270. I got a 10% parts discount, making the total including tax $980.27.
