My car has very large protomotive intercoolers, kw clubsport suspension with gt3 adjustable sway bars and tarret drop links, moll blow off valves, otherwise stock.
I attribute my longevity partly to my location from work, I live in an area where I have 12-15 minutes of 60mph warm up and cool down, otherwise it's a ticket for speeding.
These vehicles are made to be driven all the time, in all conditions, reliably. Some of the best driving is in 6-8 inches of light fluffy snow with proper winter tires. Many never get to see how well this car can do in the snow, it's phenomenal and very stable in those conditions. The looks you get are some of my fondest memories of driving.
Buy it, drive it, enjoy it...in that order....your results may vary....I'm T2...I'm not running for office...I do however, approve this content.....

I've had the best luck with Dunlop Winter Sports....those were the tires recommended for these cars back in 2001-02, Panorama performed some tests and determined they, at the time, were the best. Tire compounds, treads, manufacturing has changed a lot since then, those are the ones I have had the best luck with on this car.

I love telling people I daily drive my 996tt and then they give me the are you crazy look... then I tell them about your car T2, going 350k miles before an engine refresh (and not really needing it) and now 500k miles on it and still going strong. Keep it up man. I hope you see a million miles on it.

Yes, the gauges got modified by Sportec as well: speedo goes higher* and redline went from 6750 stock to 7200.
* I've reached 340 kph (indicated) and there was some more potential. But no more road. ;-) Unfortunately, my passenger didn't catch the 340 on photo, only 335.
