Default My car burned today

Well.. My car burned today.

Was coming home and Tracey (she was driving behind me) said a huge plume of smoke came out behind, the car died and I jumped out. less than 2 minutes later heres what I had.

Everyone is ok thank god.

No idea what the cause was. Id rather not speculate until the insurance co has a chance to go over it. The car was Bone stock..no mods. It started on the back, then the grass caught fire and it spread to the front in no time flat.

Sorry to hear about your loss..

If interested, you can have your insurance company check about the power steering pump failures.. It pumps Petosin all over the hot turbochargers and exhaust.

Thankfully no one hurt...I know you are probably in shock watching your beautiful car burn. It can be replaced...and maybe modded this time.

Is this some kind of known problem that has happened before?

sorry to hear about that, but glad you are ok. I almost had a similar experience with my Ferrari before, but was very lucky. Makes me want to get a proper fire extinguisher for the car.
