I've enjoyed reading all the above threads with Konstantine being bashed by the "look at my quarter mile run" high horsepower Jap brigade.
I have just made a post about the Gemballa GTR 750 EVo which claims 850hp (based on a 996tt) it posts a 200 to 300kph time of 12.3s. weighing 1550kg
I would love to know Konstantine's "inside line" on this car. The top mounted intercooler looks enough for about 500 reliable hp. Will it last on the ring ? autobahn ?

Yes, was harsh with Konstantin, but I disagree with his facts. In anycase, Konstantin: Sorry dude!

Having my cars in the signature is "bragging??" as opposed to??....what is your signature implying...a "sad confession?"

LOL, Thanks, I needed a laugh.

Is that the best you can do? I was kind of expecting a little better from such a astute financial genius.

I actually prefer to keep my money in non-depriciating assets. I am sure you wont have any problems with the big words.

Its much better to let big, strong men like you take the punishing hit of new car depriciation. It gives me a good laugh every time I look in my driveway. I have a near-showroom 951 that retailed for over $40k, which I purchased for under $5k. I personally think that it is a masterful stroke of automotive purchasing. Maybe you could order a GT for me, could you please pay a lot over sticker? I will be glad to take it off your hands when you have absorbed the loss, just keep the miles low and the bling bling to a minimum.

Bravo for the apology to Konstantine, he deserved it. You should make a practice of showing more respect to men. After a while it might manifest as a semblance of class.

So where are the pictures, big guy? Surely you wont disappoint, what with the eyes of the world on you and all. Surely it wouldnt be a thang for a high-roller like yourself to start backing up the sig with some factual evidence?

Gess, quit your whining. Do you need a hug or what? Your jealousy of Ryan is very childish. Yes, it is his fault for being sucessfull and I am sure he is very sorry that you are not.

I never had any. Shank brags about his cars and how fast they are but what real track does he run them on? The local drag strip doesn't count.
Take your car to the Glen, Shank and then tell us how great and fast it is. Bet dollars to donuts my "slow" 993 would make your SCARGO 996TT look like the snail it is. That is if you don't give the ride some new blue tatoos first, (bet it will take you a while to figure that out)

And ANYONE here: When you get a 996 with a stock motor (hell any motor) to run with the Supras then talk. None of this "my car is supposed to put out or it should do." The facts remain that me and Ryan Shankar have the power will destroy any car on here in the standing mile or top speed. You guys that are trying to talk trash with 600hp are a joke. When you are ready to come and play with the BIG DAWGS let us know. Until then all the keyboard warriors can keep their thoughts to themselves.

Quarter mile or top end, eh? That is a real challenge
Why don't you take your 850hp wonder car to a real track instead of your 30+ year old Carrera?

Don't you have anything better to do, like go to some "import challenge dragrace".

My Supra is my daily driver. My 911 is my roadrace car. My 996 is just a car to look nice. Standing mile is a good measure of power and top speed.

If they are "facts", then how can you disagree with them? That makes a lot of sense.

Greg, You have a lot of nerve with that statement. WHEN...WHEN DID I EVER "BRAG ABOUT MY CARS?" THE ONLY car I have stated at times is the SUPRA TURBO but only in relevence to a topic posted to compare it against a similar Porsche tuning issue. If you are referring to the signature..that is NOT Bragging. So if you or others have cars listed in their signature, is that considered bragging?, if its some piece of junk or some older car, then its not? I don't understand.

Actually, I deserve to <bleep>'n brag if I wish, but that doesn't even cross my mind. My Signature only emphasizes my cars, my taste in them, and the fact that i'm a CAR ENTHUSIAST.

I have not road raced before because I wasn't exposed to it, and too busy with my business so I can afford cars like this. So if that doesn't float your boat, who gives a <bleep>. Now, I have signed up to take up road racing courses, and plan to have a blast. "The local drag strip doesn't count" ANother ignorant, yet subjective quote. The local dragstrip does count, and I plan on taking my surpa there and achieving better times, and having a great time doing it!

As far as your challenge or invitation (only you know) to take on the road course.....Grow up nerd. Road racing street cars is not my life, nor does it complete me as an individual. It's a fun event, and it's such a shame people like you attempt to take the fun out of it.

Ryan has every car that he has in his sig. I have known him for a few years now and so do a few friends of mine.

Guys, can we lighten up in here - maybe take a deep breath and refrain from posting in this thread for a few hours and even better, maybe re-read the entire thread to see where this has all gone wrong.

On the other side of the Atlantic from most of you a Rennlist supported car has just completed night qualifying at Le Mans, helped by everything that is good about this forum, for all the great reasons that make many of us inhabit this place.

This thread is turning into the complete opposite. So chill guys, check out
