I am surprised your car is sitting. I think some pdr on the roof and sourcing some stock seats would go a long way. That said I imagine sourcing seats with red stitching will be really tough. Have you thought any of the auction sites?

Another yellow one listed - I think there are 4 yellows currently for sale in the usual car sites. This one seemed to have some unusual plastic bubbling on the speedo gauge covering (shown in a previous listing below). Also, would red gauges show up in the build sheet (these aren't on it)?

I sourced a set of euro buckets that i considered putting in the car along with removing the roll bar to not scare people into thinking this car was actually used for its intended purpose which was an occasional track day. i'll probably go that route, i'm not in any rush and it's not a fire sale so i'll just wait until someone can appreciate it for what it is. but then if I put the buckets in it, people will start asking where is the roll bar and harnesses ......
just can't win lol

That's looks like a really clean SY 6gt3. The 2nd link shows 9.8k miles, not sure if it's from the same car. If all checks out, wouldn't be surprised if they're asking six figures for it. If you ask, pls us know. Love this pic -- makes me lust for mine soon to come out of storage:

Agree, interior looking rough.
I asked if airbags deployed and was told the one in the drivers door deployed and that the "front tub and rocker, drivers door replaced."

Pick up the phone & call?

Ryan Friedman & U Drive Automobiles are both dealers that are trying to corner the 996 & 997 market. They aren't shy on the asking prices, but you do see them sit in their inventories for a long time. So I guess only time will tell where the upper market is for the car.

Any thoughts on the red gauges not in the build sheet and the bubbling on the plastic (unless someone just sneezed on it! )?

Gauge Sticker overlays were a thing people did as a mod when these cars came out. Sure looks to me like that's what's going on here vs. anything suspect.

Track focused 6 GT3 in Canada.
Will this set the low bar for current GT3 pricing?
  1. Lottsa track mods, when many buyers want stockish cars
  2. In Canada which seems to freak many US buyers out even though bringing across the border doesn't seem that difficult or expensive (~ 2.9%$ ??)
  3. Hail damage???

I bet it just cracks 60. Wrong market, but I don't expect pricing to be absurdly low either.

If for some reason it stays stupid cheap maybe I'll just buy another.

It's almost worth it at this price for parts alone, but I would still be a bit leery!

Yeah I would be buying 10 at its current price. Itll end in 60’s I bet by the end of the auction. If not like bront maybe a second track version will look nice next to my stock.

If someone buys the Canadian car and wants a normal shifter, I have a cup shifter that I could sell.
