Yes, VPA-P6. It doesn't have the over discharge protection so I guess there is a good chance of killing it if I left the lights on or something. So it does demand a certain level of owner awareness to avoid that situation, but the light weight is worth the trouble in my view.

i though it had brain and could cut itself off if its sensing trouble. Also did I hear it has a built in shut-off switch for track use? would be nice as the P parts to enable/connect my stock shut-off switch cost $900.

There is a version with the protection circuit and a version without. The one with the protection circuit is the more expensive one as it provides the insurance against over discharging the battery.

The cupholder is surprisingly heavy for its size. 762 grams or about 1.7lb.
It weighs more than the entire dash console surround, including the a/c controller, radio delete and air vents.

One way to delete it, without leaving a gap, is by installing the center console face from the 6 cup cars.

can the climate control unit and radio be ditched without sending the electronics into a hissy fit?

Together with the 28lb per side for the mufflers, thats a total of 48lb per side for the complete oem exhaust.

I've just installed the DesignTek Predator exhaust (comes only as a complete system), that is 24lb per side (header, cat, muffler, tip).
Thanks Rune - cat=8.4 so header must be 11
I'm check out another setup from Germany
Mufflers - 17.5 ea
Header - 11
Cats - 15
Tips etc - 7
So 52 x cats - light enough I guess. How much lighter can it go w/o straight pipe ear bleeds?

I have saved a total of approx 15lbs.... For free! Removed the unneeded tools from the front, and the service book etc from the glove compartment, that saved about 10lb. Then i switched from lager/beer to wine/gin, I reckon I have lost 5lbs from that!!!

Next it the rear carpets and GT3logos, FVD muffler bypass, tit lug bolts and maybe some super light alloys!!

The carbon reinforced front hood for the 2004 GT3 RS was supplied by d-moris in France.

I saw a special for it for €750.
