996 Millennium Edition Registry/Info

Well, I've tracked my car a lot this year and it had a TON of miles on it. 191k actually. The engine finally let go though... Lots of coolant and metal in the oil pan. Not exactly sure how bad but it needs a rebuild. The car will sit for quite a while until I can afford to rebuild one. I'd love to have Flat 6 Innovations do it but they are QUITE expensive but maybe I'll get there somehow either way. No plans on getting rid of the car but for the time being #196 is dead... It will get rebuilt!

Car #309 is for sale at Mahattan Porsche. The dealer kindly gave me all the maintenance records they had and after reviewing all of them, I discovered that the was some sort of water damage to the car, which was not reported to CarFax. It looks like to carpet needed to be replaced as well as an ECU or two. Not saying there is anything worng with the car, more of just a heads up if anyone here is thinking of purchasing the car.

Those are not the original wheels (verified with the dealer). They did supply me with all service records they had, back to 2006 and quite a few HD pictures. Paint is nice, but not without some flaws (and good luck matching it !). No IMS work, if that matters. I was really considering this, but when I asked for further information of the water damage, they said they didn't know anything about it. Funny thing is, it was their dealership that took the car in (had to be towed) and did they work to repair the water damage. Plus, they are holding fast on their asking price, because I did make an offer. It's been for sale for a little while now.

New owner of #414 here. Pick it up next week and couldn’t be happier. Over paid for sure but I couldn’t help myself. IMS done, new brakes 2 sets of wheels (original never used), GT3 front end with original in great condition. New tires, immaculate service records. 134,000km. LOVE IT!!!

The GT3 front end in the prior post is intriguing. I have had a 36K ME for a couple years. Given how prices have gone way up, it is better condition than I really wanted to buy because I really selected one to drive. Anyhow, it has a couple paint issues. One being the front bumper has some spidering that you can't see 5 feet away. But, I know it is there. I am reluctant to repaint given that matching problem. Would you leave it? What would a GT3 front end cost?

Hello sbess I bought your car from California. Now has 56k on the clock. New IMS and clutch along with new coils and plugs with bore scope analysis. I also replaced the headlamps with the OEM parts from Suncoast. I love the car a skinny hipped C4 911. The interior including the wood is in very good to excellent shape. The exterior just underwent paint correction and looks showroom clean. I’m considering selling but each time I sit in the ME’s Natural Brown Leather my brain tells me I’m crazy.
