Ok so I spent some time over the last few weeks creating a Google Docs spreadsheet of all the MEs we have here, both owned or found for sale over the years. What number, what country it's in, manual vs Tip, LHD vs RHD, and known owners. A gentleman in the Netherlands on Instagram known as @ 996millennium, had a lot that he has found over the years and documents them on his Instagram page so I included everything he has found to date as well. I'll keep adding to this, might eventually make it look a little nicer too. Here's the link:

Default #414 Millennium Edition

Hey everyone,

I posted a while back when I purchased 414. I have the champion wheels on with the GT2 a euro kit. I love the way it looks. I have found that the best paint match is the AXALTAA Chromax EZ paint, perhaps someone else has tried. I have to do quite a lot of paint work next season unfortunately. Anyways I have two questions, all my wood is cracked (like everyone’s) should I just replace to natural brown leather? What do I do with my steering wheel that’s all cracked?

secondly, I want to put the peppita inserts in my front seats to mimic the heritage interior packages, thoughts?

lastly, I have upgraded plenum, lowered HR springs and the exhaust bypass. Looking for another performance upgrade, please share if you have any ideas. Cheers!

I have similar mods on mine. Not much more you can do without doing a full motor rebuild tbh. I have black 997 Sport seats in it too that I want to do houndstooth or tartan inserts in. I stripped the wood off my doors and painted them black. I do want to do leather eventually. My steering wheel needs to be redone or replaced because it's so very cracked. I've currently got the wood sections wrapped with hockey stick tape.

# 626, I replaced my wheel with a black 3 spoke. Looks great, better than a wheel with no wood at all.

Default Add #356 to the ME list

Hi Chance (and the other bookkeepers),

Could you add my ME number 356 to the list(s)?

Manual, left hand drive, 65k kilometers (not miles), Netherlands (EU).

Besides... as far as I know this is the only Millennium Edition Exclusive Series with the 3.6 X51 engine system.

Best regards,

Jelle

Got your email and added! I've been busy the last few weeks and haven't been checking here lately. That's very cool about the X51! I had no idea that was a factory option! Do you have any photos or documentation for that?

After blowing my engine up in September 2021, mine is back on the road!

Did you do any think to engine chain guides or IMS or AOS before you put your used engine on?

I bought a used, 72k mile long block from Flat6 Innovations (rare that they do such a thing but I got extremely lucky). The motor had maintenance history through them and I got a full video of the motor on Jake's workbench before I bought it. IMS was done a few years ago as was the chain guides/actuators so the thing was basically fresh. He only sold it to me because it was deemed too good to rebuild (and he's right, it runs smoother than mine ever did). Said he was going to just plop it in a good shell of a car if he ever found one but then I popped up. My old block was cracked so it couldn't be rebuilt and you can't buy blocks from Porsche anymore. I hope someone else ends up making new ones eventually. Anyway, I swapped most of the parts from my original motor to this one but I did replace the AOS and all of the coolant hoses in the engine bay. Did the rear main as well but that seems to be leaking already (guessing we installed it incorrectly...). I've put about 250 miles on it so far and it's been great other than the oil leak I need to have addressed. I did most of the work myself with the help of a friend in his personal shop space.

Hi Chance, confirmed: my 911 millennium edition #356 has this documented and listed on the car sticker (X51, 09991, 09981, 22851).

That is very cool and incredibly rare! Mine has the aerokit although I'm not sure it's factory.

Hi Chanse, Hope you got good deal on that engine. I am surprise Why they remove that engine from the shell and sale like this? and if I am not wrong you can buy new block from dealer without core?

I basically bought it as a core, so I paid the core charge for it. It was pulled from the car because it was getting a 4.0 installed in its place! Lucky owner! And no, you can't buy blocks from Porsche anymore. They have been struggling to keep up with producing engines for new cars so they are not making new blocks for old engines anymore because of the global supply chain problems. They may come back in the future but they haven't been available for over a year now. If Porsche doesn't offer them again in the future, I hope someone like Flat 6 Innovations/LN Engineering or Hartech or someone will figure out a way to produce them.
