I'd love to see the failed bearing, and shaft.
The risks associated with experimental IMS fitments isn't for the faint of heart, or wallet. What appears to be so easy, quick, and cheap has drawn lots of people to be their own guinea pigs. They've paid for it, but in this case, the next guy has to. They never listen to me, since they all think we have something to sell.
Over the weekend a guy that bought some products from LN had one small complication during retrofit. Instead of working through it, with tech support he says "I'll just replace the bearing with something I found for 12.00 at a local bearing house, since I am running out of time". Haste makes waste and at some point this guy, or the next owner of the car, will pay for it. It happens every single time.
