Just a flesh wound! Hammer and some duct tape and you're right back on the road

Another overpriced 40AE car:
https://www.audipembrokepines.com/us...rader_listings
This dealer will not only not negotiate on the price but they will NOT allow a car to be taken to a Porsche specialist to be inspected. And even though it is a one-owner trade, they have no info about the wreck on the carfax or any service history.

I would say thumbs down because it's been wrecked based on the CarFax. That may explain the gaps too. Without more information, it's hard to tell the severity of the accident.

I missed the Carfax. Description says original paint and no bodywork, weird if there was an accident.

There was a post that I saw recently where someone said that they had purchased a car that was listed on Carfax as having minor damage; paint looked like it had been done right and everything looked straight. A while after they purchased the car someone backed into him and he had to have the bumper cover and some light bodywork done. Bodyshop got it opened up and guess what they found...a bunch of crappy welding. He had the shop correct all of the bad welds...did not say how much it was but I am sure it was not cheap. If there is no documentation about a wreck, my default is to walk away.

This one looks like my twin so I'll look forward to seeing how it bids out. Same mileage as mine and I did the IMSB, clutch, AOS, water pump, etc a couple months after I purchased mine in October. I was going to wait a year but with the lockdown and rainy weather I figured why not dig in. I spent $2k on parts and took my time doing the work but it was a surprisingly easy job with no hickups. Maybe not on BAT, but some of these well kept examples on Auto Trader and CL, etc can be well negotiated by those that can do the work themselves. By far the biggest scare with these is bore scoring. I cringe every time I start mine but then start enjoying the ride after it's warmed up.
Oh, and my guess on this one is $24,500.

Speaking of ocean blue metallic this 99 coupe is already pretty high, nice to see a base 911 with a strong price.

Was surprised to see this end up at 21,250 but then reread the listing and realized it has a potential bad AOS and it was recommended IMS, clutch and RMS be done. I think with those issues being present 21,250 is still a strong price. Makes me wonder what I could get for my ocean blue metallic with all those issues addressed.

Yeah, the buyer got it for ~$22.5k all in. Not bad, especially if he can gain some sweat equity by doing the work himself with $1500 in parts if flywheel not needed. The seller really didn't do a good job: fewer pictures than most auctions and only a 20 sec start video that I can tell was not a cold start since it was in the driveway out of an empty garage. I'd want to see a cold start, driving and walk around videos. In the comments someone asked for a drive video and he declined blaming it on covid. His call, but all together maybe cost him a $thou..
No good. I don't understand people that go through the trouble of putting the car on an auction site and then don't put in the effort while the auction is running. I would be glued to the listing if it was my car.

Ocean Blue is a fantastic color, its dark in the shade but really pops in the sun. I think I would throw mine up for sale if it was a coupe but a cab is just harder to sell or will sell for lower.
