Here's a candidate for my next track day car. https://www.iaai.com/vehicle?itemid=...09&RowNumber=1
Replace damaged parts with CF body panels. Gut + sell off the interior. Replace the suspension with Tarret's latest. It could be Fun!

The damage to that GT3 doesn't looks all that bad. Assuming the suspension damage is just bent control arms and there isn't any frame damage. Even then, if you could get it for $9k it would be a great transplant candidate for a standard Carrera.

Here's an interesting 2000 in Chicago with 45K miles....tiptronic, $13.5K, and I just noticed it has a rebuilt title.
https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/c...776095248.html
Beautiful 2000 Porsche 911 996. Automatic/Tiptronic. 45K Miles
This vehicle has been sitting. Needs a tune up.
Lets start with some history: I purchased the vehicle with a new motor installed. The 996 was purchased with 29K miles. Current mileage is 45K. The previous owner also replaced the IMS bearing. During my ownership the following services/upgrades have been completed: Air/Oil Separator (Done @ Highland Park Porsche), OEM Breaks, OEM Rotors, Projector headlight upgrade ($2000), Rear 997 LED Tail light upgrade ($1000), Clear Side Markers ($300), Synthetic Oil Change, Replaced Cabin & Engine Filter, Oil Pan Seal w/ Magnetic Drain Plug, 19" Asanti Wheels and Pirelli Tires (~$4000).
Cons: Key Remote needs to be Reprogrammed/ Needs a tune up
Conclusion: Vehicle is being sold as is, please no low ball offers. The vehicle needs a tune up and is priced accordingly. The vehicle is parked in a heated garage downtown. Car runs and drives fine but does need some work. Thank you

Needs a tune-up? Sounds fishy to me. You cut the price by 5 or 6 grand rather than put in $300 worth of parts?

I’m in Austin at the moment and I’d pick it up if it were here.
My wife would just love for all our luggage to be packed around a nice Porsche flat 6 don’ cha know!
If nothing else I could use it for rebuilding practice.
Practising wrist pin installation.

If anybody is interested in buying from them, let me know and I’ll let you know why.
I’d rather take my chances buying one site unseen from anybody else.

I do see quite a few good deal cars from them from time to time. Never been to this place. Please share with us your experience with them so we can be aware.
