That sounds too good to be true. I would be cautious with that one as it could have some hidden damage/issues/previous accidents that haven't made it onto carfax/etc.

Default 2003 Cab 4 with Tip and 47k miles

This one has been for sale for over 3 months at this dealer. The price originally started at about $30k, now down to $28k. NADA clean trade in is $29k. The value includes over $6k for low mileage.

Carfax is clean title, but good and lack of maintenance depending on the owner shown in the report.

It appears in great shape and only has 47k miles on it. Appears to be more of a garage queen car.

Looks like a C2, not a C4. Seems like no great bargain for a C2 cab with a Tip, mileage notwithstanding. And that badge on the deck lid looks a little crooked, though that could just be the angle of the photo rather than sketchy body work.

Default Low Mileage 996 TT

I'm going to look at this one on the weekend:

http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/cto/5147965693.html

Prices are probably about 20% higher here in Canada than in the US.

What do you think?

I know why - it's more fun on the track. I would do the same thing.

Much more fun to drive, drops 70+lbs off the car (including unsprung and rotational mass), better mpg, longer clutch life, easier clutch engagement, burnouts, donuts and the car is faster.

I created front axle deletes so people can convert to 2WD and not tear apart the driveline. Shaves an additional 3lbs off the factory CV axle stubs.

No need to pull the fuse, just hit the PSM button.

Stunning car. We have similar examples and a price to match in Seattle.

IIRC, they have the factory versions of those axle deletes.

Doesn't the PSM still go on though if you don't pull the fuse?

PSM switch turns PSM off EXCEPT under braking.
