You do provide service and rebuilds correct? I’d hate to have you rebuild my engine and have to deal with you on any oversight. You come off as very immature for a business owner. You’re not the first and only guy out there who jumped on the 996 failures when they first surfaced.
To the other guy that kisses the ground you walk on, give me your address and I'll send you the remainder of my wife's Midol. You sound like you need it more than her. I checked the posts you were about and I never seen any direct insult to anyone. Get a life please!

*sigh* Well, I really try hard not to sound like KrazyK (i.e. running around smooching Jake's posterior) - but you've missed the mark here. If I had to pick the RL member who seems most in need of a life, Walt, regrettably I believe it's you...
<--- Bill Murray is trying to tell you something. Please listen.

There are a lot of people out there who know a lot about something, that, "gasp", will have a very low forum count when they first start posting. Not saying that's the case here, I didn't read up on him or care to, but that a person can't outright call someone a troll or new (maybe new to the forum) based off of a low post count.
I doubt Jake will go anywhere, he makes too much money off of this site. Plus if someone (him or anyone) left because of a person with only 6 posts, well, that says more about them than anything.
However, I've found just as helpful or more helpful articles on these cars that don't involve Jake posting. So if he did leave, yes, we would lose someone who can give advice, but he isn't the only shop or person out there online.
Oh and as far as the oil thread, I was a lemming and put in what's called for. I don't know enough about oil to get too involved, the car is expensive, and it's not something I want to learn about right this moment.
If I did want to learn though I would go on other forums and talk with sources in real life rather than on here.

Just to add something that may help the OP;
Jake didn't just make crap up about which oil he uses in the M96. He has been very specific about how each blend of Driven oil was formulated and for what purpose, whether it was for break-in, track use, or street use. A very simple answer to you question and a direct quote from JR is, if you want what works best for your M96, first use the break-in to flush the engine then refill with JG DT 40. If you are too dense to heed his advise, oh well, maybe your engine blows up or maybe it doesn't. Here is a link if your too ignorant to figure it out:

I doubt Jake will go anywhere, he makes too much money off of this site.
These cars are now in the hands of DIY owners, we don't support the DIY effort at all, and have nothing to offer them, so I don't understand how the statement I quoted above can be made at all.
Over the years my efforts shift to the newer cars that are having issues out of warranty, and are still on their first or second owner. This is the way the 996 used to buy, then the 997.1, but now we are well into the 997.2, and have been since 2010.
As time goes on the DIY owners learn from forums and do their own work. Thats what makes these forums thrive.
I just finished editing the 996 and 997 Technical Specifications for fasteners today, and thats something that a DIY'r would REALLY benefit from, as its 200 pages of every torque spec in the entire car, as well as the engine. I'm not even happy putting my name on the cover after reading this crap, because I know more of this "He is only here to make money" bull**** will be posted.

Now, three.... and I didn't find you on this forum, found you via word of mouth via another non-Porsche forum.
Did, I tell you I am going to sue you because of this permanent grin on my face from your engine!
