Nothing wrong with headers and trumpet exhaust only

I'm glad Akrapovic makes good headers for the 997 but real bumbed they don't make exhaust for the 996. They make some dynomite titanium exhaust.

Congrats -- have you watched "No Man's Land" again since you got 'er?

Classic 911 and engaging handling, obviously I'm an aircooled fan, too ha.

I'm thinnking of buying all of the parts that didn't fit his 996 that are still in his garage. Then I'll list them on ebay and sell them back to him. All I need to do is use the workd "shiny" and "like new" and the phrase "fits all 911 models!" That alone will get 80% of those items sold at the "Buy it Now" price.

Nope, should I send YOU an invoice too!!!

hahaha
there are some down sides to the trade - I put the GT3 sways front and rear on in January, was hoping to pull those off and re-sell, but Mike has a racing background and was having no part of that... I guess that is the only part I felt I "lost" in the deal... maybe the seats, but we have a plan for those that might work out OK - they are still 1/2 on the negotiation table

No invoice! Maybe Mikes wife will hate the seats!
But I'm in one of those dangerous moods today, Not motivated to do much work and looking around for stuff to buy (Stuff that fits my car!)

I did order FisterD's already

A few mods that I did on my old (use to have) '86 Carrera was added the Weltmeister SSK and their front strut tower brace. The brace really made a difference. I felt like I could point the car thru the eye of a needle.

These were pretty cheap things to do which made a big improvement.

Ed, congrats on the sweet new Porsche ... reminds me a lot of my last little 911SC targa I had. Let's go driving, we've got Spring for the first time in a decade and a half
