Hey, I'm from NYC, I have flipped plenty of people off but never someone who did not deserve it! There was nothing aggressive in the way we were driving.

Bah... people are nuts

Next time, let the poor Porsche pass you! I'm sure you can relate.

I would be willing to bet Marc wasnt "holding up" the Porsche in the curves....

I have the same peeve as you...90 down the straights and 20 thru the interchanges....I have even noticed large trucks carrying steam rollers go faster around corners than most people do in their "sport sedan" - its crazy!!!

but that isnt what happened here....no Marc clearly pissed off owners of black 996's and the word is out for him

I think the 996 guy completely misinterpreted the entire spirited drive, seriously -

Well, I was not holding up anyone, I had a high power advantage to say the least but we appeared to be having fun.

I can't believe I'm late to the party to pick on Marc for driving like a nut/old lady.

Was driving to work this morning. As I am approaching a stop light, I hear a young voice say "I like your car!" I look to my left and a boy about 14 years old sitting in the passenger seat of a SUV and is staring out the open window with a huge smile on his face. I smile and reply "Thank you!"

Then I glance over at the driver, who I assume is his mother, and I think to myself ".... and I like your Mom!" She was HOT!

That little escapade made my day..... twice!

I was a good boy, but 556HP corrupts one fast. Literally.

I'm not normally an aggressive driver. I merged onto a parkway and I was stuck behind a cluster of cars. I could see that a slowpoke in the left lane was keeping pace with someone in the middle lane, causing traffic to bunch up. Up ahead, traffic was completely clear. I sped up, did a couple of quick zigzag moves, and threaded my way through the jam. As soon as I cleared the mess, I pulled to the right lane and slowed down to the speed limit. One of the cars that I passed during that maneuver was a Lexus, who apparently felt slighted by my action. In my mirror, I could see him duplicating my moves, but when he cleared the jam he kept on going at high speed, blowing past me. I passed him again about a mile later as he was on the shoulder getting a ticket.

My wife let me drive her cab yesterday. I felt special... my vette is sleeping all covered up in the garage. Hard week at work mentally draining. Maybe something neat will happen to me soon. I've read about 70% of the threads. and found myself laughing at most of them.... great place to be right now..thanks guys..............

There are a couple of songs off the upcoming album on this plus plenty of old stuff. If it was not for all the Classic rock on Satellite radio I would not even have a radio. all the great old NYC classic rock stations are long dead.

Kinda sad that most of my favorite groups/Artists have AARP cards or are just plain dead
