Scott - I'm sorry we won't see you this weekend. No problem re the $. Next time.

John - I'm glad we get to meet you! This brings our 80s 911 attendees to 3! Rich, Michael and you! I get to the Wake Zone around 7:30. Depends on whether or not I find disc brake dust on my wheels when they're in the sunlight.

Alex - It will be great to see you too. We're meeting at the Wake Zone, then driving over to Brier Creek; then to Durham with the Ferraris and Porsches (and Mercedes).

For the record, we're officially the Porsche, Ford F150, Mercedes E-Class, Cadillac Escalade, Lexus group in Cary/Apex (PFMCL-C/A). Now there's an acronym!

Charles, I forgot to mention that we should head over to Brier Creek between 9:00 - 9:15 at the latest.

If anyone wants us to wait for you, I'll send you a PM with my cell phone number so you can let us know you're coming to the Wake Zone. But, I encourage you to come to the Zone early to relax/enjoy the best coffees in town.

Looks like this is where the destination is. Crosspointe Church of Cary located on Carpenter Fire Station Rd. near Hwy 55.

Hope to see you guys at Brier Creek.

Hey, everyone. I just mapquested our path from Brier Creek to the donation location in Durham, and it's just up the road from the 540 entrance on hwy 55 (the same place we enter 540 on the way to Brier Creek). So, we would drive from Wake Zone, to Brier Creek, stay for 15-30 minutes, and drive right back to the intersection of hwy 55 and 540.

Would it make more sense for us to just meet everyone at Crosspointe Church? I understand that the convoy of Porsches, Ferraris and other exotics is part of the attraction. But, I think the place where we make our toy is the place where we would probably have the greatest impact.

As you know, I love to take a drive. So, I'll go from the Zone to Brier Creek to the Church with our group. But, I maybe there's another more efficient way.

Let me know what you think.

Instead of taking toys to the kids do you think we could arrange a donation of Porsche items to us at Wake Zone?

I'm just going to meet you guys at Brier creek. I'll try to get there before 9 to be safe.

I just ordered a bunch of rotary polishing stuff from detailer's domain for Christmas.

So excited!

I still need to get a gift. Heck, I haven't even gone shopping for my family yet. Although, my wife did pick up a remote controlled car set for my neighbors kids last Sunday at Costco and right now it's sitting in the garage unwrapped......

Did I miss somewhere that states what age parameter we need to adhere to when purchasing a toy? Or is this just bring anything you can?

That pretty much rules out a case of cocktail onions or a gift-wrapped torque wrench. Oh well, back to the drawing board. I still have time....
