Saturday's Gathering
Despite the rain, we had another great turnout on Saturday:
Dell (Big Escalade)
Charles (Lexus)
Jeff (996)
Dave (997)
Rich (Boxster)
Bruce (Cayman S)
Ralph (993 Cab)
Manil (C4S)
Helmut (S200 C/R)
As you can see from the list, the rain brought about some big changes in the types of cars that appeared! I took a closer look at Helmut's new S2000 and it's a monster - C/R stands for Club Racer, and it's well equipped for the task.
Dave appeared with the first 997 to join our group - great to meet you, Dave.
Manil was there with new rims, following a tire/rim issue earlier in the week. The standard C4S rims look terrifice, Manil!
I'll be with Rich, Charles, Dell and Helmut at the Carolinas DE next week, and then I'm away for the Thanksgiving holiday the following weekend. So, I hope you all have a wonderful couple weeks until I see you again!
For those of you at the autocross (Bruce, Jeff, etc.), call me on my cell phone so we can get together at VIR.

I'll miss this Saturday's gathering - still out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. However, I'll be ready for the next weekend. I hope that those who are still in town this weekend will visit Mark (proprietor) at the Wake Zone.
Have a great Thanksgiving. See you when I return.

Bob, we will miss you Saturday, but we will keep your chair open. I am sure the smile is still ear to ear from the weekend.
Happy and healthy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Safe travels. see you next week

Was fun to watch. My first time at VIR, even to watch.
Looking forward to my first DE next year.
Looks like the Wake Zone coffee will be the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever had (you guys are a bad influence).
Dell, nice looking ride!

Well, I can't say that the guys weren't completely honest about it. I willingly started this addiction, and it all started with a cup of coffee - who would have guessed.

But having a Porsche addiction is cheaper than a mistress

Hi, Charles - It was great to spend the weekend DE with you and Rich. You were great roomies. I hope you had a great time too.
FYI - My wife calls the Porsche "the other woman."
See you at the Wake Zone in a couple weeks.
