VIR Master Driver DE - June 18-19
i don't know too much about this but i stumbled upon it at clubregistration.net. it's under hurricane region. some of you experienced drivers may be interested, others may want to volunteer to assist...
The Hurricane Region, Porsche Club of America, will conduct a Master Driver high performance driver education event in conjunction with Twelfth Annual “VIR Governor's Cup” at the Virginia International Raceway south course on June 18-19, 2011.
Highlights of the two day event will be a well structured learning experience featuring sports car legends, David Murry and Peter Krause. As Chief Instructor for the event, David Murry's instruction will feature:
Dynamic interactive class room instruction
Video analysis of selected participants' driving
At-the-corner instruction during race/active track
In-car instruction by David Murry with selected drivers
Tips and discussion with David Murry and Peter Krause.
This DE and race is a must attend event if you are serious about honing your driving skills and enjoy watching vintage cars race and mingling with the drivers off track. Registration is extremely limited since the DE event will share track with the VIR Governor's Cup.

David Murry was my instructor at Porsche Driving Experience at Road Atlanta some years a go.....at the end of the 2nd day he took me for a few laps around the track...a moment I will never forget....great guy......
