I was drving near Concord on the way to Charlotte; got off the main highway and parked under a bank drive-thru just in time.

I only lost one tree in the back yard but a mile down the road from me looks like ground zero.

Just saw video of a home destroyed in Linden. Jon who came to see us at WakeZone two weeks ago in his 928 lives there. Checking in with him to see if he's ok...

Yeah. He and I exchanged emails. All is good. Damage down the road aways... But they are fine.

Oh... And he's now taken over as NC coordinator of the 982 OC... I had to join after that!

Was wondering if you guys are going to meet this saturday. I am new to the 996 community and would like to get together with fellow owners to absorb as much info as possible. If so what time do you usually show up.

Yep; every Saturday. Some of us arrive earlier than others, but most arrive ~8~9.

Gorgeous day this morning at coffee. Jeff brought out the Miata, and a friend of another brough his BMW M3 track car with LSx install. Bruce is back from another hard-earned vacation.
