Default Cooked a storm today

Cheek meat. Made ove easy eggs and French toasts for my son. To take advance of the fire some bacon wrapped filet mignon and deer pork beef garlic sausage. Buen provecho 😋.

One of my sons favorite breakfasts.

Awesome barbacoa, not the healthiest thing to eat. Almost 8 hours total cook time. Tender as hell.

Default Fish issues with my 82 year old mother.

We will be together in my bro’s house Saturday in Tampa. The discussions arguments right now revolves around which fresh fish to get, grouper, red snapper, golden tile, dorado, anyway I’m voting for grouper can’t get that one fresh here in Texas. Porsche item my bro bought a 15 Gt3 like 4 months ago, I’ll get to
go to
9,000 rpms. Pdk is ****.

Ha, it's a real weird time for S.FLA sports. Panther's #1 overall going into the Playoffs and the Miami Heat are the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.... now if we could only get the Dolphins to play better! The Panther's are the only S.FL professional team not to win a title so maybe this could be it?

Funny thing is that whenever an improbable team wins it all (Bosox, Cubs, Cavs, Canes, etc) I always think that “the Leafs have to be next!” The Panthers and Leafs could well collide this year which would be an epic battle.

Default Another cool brewery pizza place.

Driving from Houston to Florida to see my brother and mom saw this sign Crying Eagle Brewery, it was on my way so I had to stop. Awesome place. Their IPAs are ok but nothing to talk about. I didn’t even bought a six pack to go. Now the atmosphere and food was great. Friday so live music, in the hour plus I was there the band played stuff from Brian Adams, Steve miller band and survivor, pretty cool, I wish their beers were better. Some pics. Place is in lake Charles Louisiana off I 210.

Pretty nice table tops.

They are aging some bourbon with beer stuff flavor,

Ipa flight, good but not great compared to what I like.

Bistro has a cool pizza oven.

Niece brewery.

Stage on outside patio.

Patio view.

Cool sign in the entrance. If you are around the area, you should go and give it a try.

The king was the butcher block pizza. Awesome for $15. I would definitely buy it again. Pizza and beer, maybe that could be my last meal.

Default The suncoast

Still in Florida with my mother and my brother and his family. A week ago Sunday we went to Tarpon had some fresh, caught same day grouper. A few pics. My brothers 15 Gt3 , the whole exhaust system is soul sounds amazing. I got crazy yesterday and spent $50k bought a .4 acre lot in front of my brothers houses, trying to get my mom to move over here.can’t wait to get back to Texas, drive the 996, rest for a few days and then onto riverside California to pick up the Turbo. Life is pretty good.

View from one of his houses the waterfront. My brother sold both boats.

The grouper was amazing, I can’t get this fish in Texas.

My brothers 15 Gt3.

Front view both of my brothers houses.

Already has buckeye license frame. Soul exhaust system is bad ***, car is missing a pedal.

I taught this is pretty funny.

My lot.

Pretty nice big lot, corner.

As always got to have some high octane stuff. View from the House lanai.

Yesterday I attended my first-ever Cars & Coffee, at my local Porsche dealership. I have no frame of reference, but the turnout was amazing with maybe 200 cars (about half Porsches). I arrived a little late and was thus relegated to a back lot (see circled car in photo). Frankly amongst all the Lambos and Ferraris and Vipers and GT4s my 99 C2 felt a little ordinary, but that’s OK because he’s mine and I love him. My fave car was one in the showroom that looks to have recently sold. It is a 964 in Vesuvio over Nephrite Green. Sensational! If I could go back in time I would totally have ordered a 996 in that combo. Check out the asking price!!

so I already cooked a 7.5 lb pork butt on a small Weber it was awesome, the seasoning Puerto Rican’s style garlic salt and oregano my mom made Arroz con gandules . Anyway after I walk with my 82 year old mom we make breakfast sandwiches, I’ll eat mine with rum and Coke Zero.

Johnsonville breakfast sausage scramble eggs cheese toast and butter.

7.5 lb pork butt was awesome we ate almost 3 days.
