One of the most awkward "giraffe" moments is when you take a student out on the track that has never been in a racing seat, with harnesses and hans device, that is not as limber as a 40 year old. They can drop into the seat fairly easily. But it can be a little tough to get them out.
Did you lose the reverse gear auto-tilt on the side mirror after swapping out the seats?

Nice! I was unexpectedly caught out in the rain once. Glad to report that the car didn't melt as I suspected it to.
I only recently learned about the reverse tilt feature, which I really like in other cars. Turns out you need seats with memory function, which I don't have. I'll be interested to know if the feature survives a seat-ectomy.
Spent some time admiring it today. The fact that although I could be working on it, I don't have to is a really, really nice place to be and enjoy a couple of cold beers.
