My neighbor just retired after working for a carpet place for 50 years.
He moved to be closer to family and was cleaning out.
He brought over a bunch of carpet samples and told me I could have them for working on cars.
They're a nice size to drop in front of each wheel to kneel on while changing tires.
I have larger pieces that I use when I need to lay down.
They're much better than laying on cardboard, or on concrete!
I also have a creeper for when the car is up on the Quickjack and I need to roll around underneath.

Sammy is the best daily. Some say it's the M2 CS....and they would be wrong. That's why I'm selling it. Cause it sits while I grab the keys for my 996. Let's see if I can keep this up in the cold weather. I know the C4 can

Another trip to my tech added GT3 sway bars and some of rennline products and Monday the IPD plenum goes on

Burning Brakes
Car loaded is the slightly less hot summer night.
Just got the schedule for Monday and Tuesday, 160 minutes in 6 sessions each day at Thunderbolt.

Started my backdate project
These are by renndecals. I'm not sure how long they will stay adhered, but I did a quick iron and tar, claybar, polish and paint prep wipe pre install so if they peel off it's not for lack of tryin.Also finished w a heat gun. Looks sweet! Black wheels go on tomorrow.
