Good day for a wash! Just installed my custom/homemade front spoiler and the the Uniwerks short shifter. The short shifter is great and feels like a new tranny/modern car. It does take some time to get used too but 100% worth it.

I have 2 sets of headlights. 5 minutes and it looks like I have a second Porsche 911.
Currently rocking the 996.2 look!
I sold my BMW 135i (almost 500hp with full bolt-ons, port injection, inlets & E85) about 5 months after I bought my 996 because it hadn’t been driven in over 2 months.
It was a fun daily driver, just not fun enough.

Here you go! Keep in mind this is my first "prototype". I plan to find the exact material (Polyurethane) for the upper portion on the spoiler and mold it around. This will replace the foam/rubber material on their right now so the spoiler looks like one piece (not two diff. materials). It still needs some touch up but not bad for my first round and it is rated/tested at 106 MPH . BTW: The reason why I made my own: I really couldn't find a spoiler on the market that I liked, they all seemed too obtrusive (in my opinion) and took away from the look/style of the car. After searching for months, found a "universal" spoiler on ebay for $65 bucks...yep laugh it up! It had the style I wanted and curve needed.... but it was NOT a bolt on. Had to cut the outers (wheel well area) to shorten them. Cut off about 4 inches in the middle, molded a center piece to cover up where the wo sides come together (you can see it in the #2 pic). Placed a foam/rubber strip to hide a small gap between the spoiler and the cars front bumper. Drilled wholes to mount the spoiler to the car. When I finalize this unit , I might end up building few of these for those who would like one. Not looking to make any money as its just a hobby and keep me busy.

been going back and forth again about selling but its a really touch decision
its been right at a year now of trouble-free ownership, and I think its time to buy something else

I ordered the wrong part and accidentally had the 996 turbo front lip installed on my 4s. Decided I actually preferred the look and left it on. Is this the look you’re aiming to achieve?
