Sounds like you picked up a real nice car, and you should post up some pics, but no you do not have what he was describing in that post. He was specifically talking about a car with LSD, but no OBC or TC, which as far as anyone knows doesn't exist. Early 99s didn't come with OBC or TC standard they were an option that came as a package with LSD.

Ok, yes i don't have LSD, but he also says LSD comes standard with TC, so doesn't that mean that: "FYI, pair an OBC-Delete with TC-Delete (see #4 above) and you have the "holy grail" of zero-nannies, analog modern 911's in the United States" is specifically excluding LSD cars? Unless by holy-grail he meant impossible... but that doesn't seem likely right?

But also that all 996's are equipped with OBC, they just didn't activate it from the factory. I have it turned on and will be running wires to unused switch locations next to the climate control to cycle the information, otherwise it will show outside temperature as default.

Interesting example build date of 3/98 so would think an early build but has clear not amber lenses, WTF? 😀
