Ok, yes i don't have LSD, but he also says LSD comes standard with TC, so doesn't that mean that: "FYI, pair an OBC-Delete with TC-Delete (see #4 above) and you have the "holy grail" of zero-nannies, analog modern 911's in the United States" is specifically excluding LSD cars? Unless by holy-grail he meant impossible... but that doesn't seem likely right?

How do I know if my car has the OBC stalk? I have cruise control and wiper/high-beam stalks.

You don’t. OBC control is the third stalk

On top of this it would be real obvious. You'd be able to see things like outside temp, miles left, MPG, Avg speed etc, below your digital speed. Which is what that stalk let's you switch between and reset.

That is what he meant. Being virtually impossible is what would make it almost certainly a one of one. Analog + LSD is kinda considered the Holy Grail by enthusiastic as a whole across all marques.

But also that all 996's are equipped with OBC, they just didn't activate it from the factory. I have it turned on and will be running wires to unused switch locations next to the climate control to cycle the information, otherwise it will show outside temperature as default.

If you had the PCM, the OBC values were available to view through the menus. There was not a seperate stalk needed.

I don’t understand TC-delete. All I have to do to turn TC off is hit a button on my dash.

XRV check build date on the inside of your drivers door

Probably.
Just check the black sticker inside the driver door. It will indicate month of manufacture in the corner.

Interesting example build date of 3/98 so would think an early build but has clear not amber lenses, WTF? 😀

Thank for answer, but in drivers door sticker is missing. I have only original hood sticker. Is there show month of manufacture? xrv
