Nice job driving and taking instructions

I thought you were really smooth dropping into turn 2, I still slow down. Track/race drivers are no brakes, pretty much WOT, after turn one to the entry of bus stop.(Not me, yet)

Was this a PCA HPDE? What run group are you in?

I love that track, doesn't hurt, about 50 miles to gate 2 from my house.

Yes pca HPDE. Green run group. I hope to be blue for my next event. Turn 1 is heavy braking with street tires. I was near the limit to ABS. Only if I hit that apex right did the car take me where I needed to be, otherwise Momentum took me way off track and past the paint. As the day went on, turn 2 through the esses was more wide open throttle for me. It's a crazy thought that the pros are 2 wide through there sometimes.

i agree you had the line early. Our 996 is at a power disatvantage on a fast track like watkins. U need to get back there because u left some speed on the table. The only thing i saw was u were too far on the inside at the entrence to the 2 carousels. Its taken me a long time to fight my instincs and to late apex those turns. I did notice there r even more skid marks into the tires on the downill left turn after the 1st carousel. That a turn and the esses are nervy areas and take a while to trust your abilities in those sections.

Thanks. Good advice! The extra HP could have been helpful but like you said much improvement needed to get those clean and consistent lines first. Cheers! Pocono next!

You know...

The sound of the 917 intake and exhaust were always like music to my ears. But the sound of the CTSR is a very, very close second.

160 and still pulling like a GD freight train...

Pretty mellow on the inputs, then you see the pace. Well put together and driven...

225 and 262 at the end, warm. Guess with all that oomph - comes with the territory. With the base car you get all the temp - none of the oomph.
