Good info Rich. Out of curiosity, where did you put the expansion tank? Overall, you must have found a solid formula to keep using the 996. Appreciate the insight.

Traqmate have yet to connect my GoPro using a separate Sony camera like the picture quality and sound recording better than my GoPro. I run car on DOT Hoosier R7s or Hankooks.

Lime Rock Park
This is from our last NE 996 outing to Lime Rock. The weather was getting a little dicey. We got light rain at times. In the last session I worked on getting the lines through Big Bend and the Left Hander. Doing the Left hander correctly sets up the Right Hander and the No Name Straight. This is the slowest part of the track so my goal is to minimize the distance driven = minimize the time spent at low speed.
It's hard to keep the speed down to stick the inside of the Left Hander. The driver who has the track record in SM2 told me to trak out no further then the middle between Big Bend and the Left Hander. That seems to work when I can manage to do it correctly.
Here's two-ish laps with me following Jack @Jnelso . There were only two other cars on track as the foreboding weather had scared everyone else away. No in car camera this time as it fell off my back window sometime during the session .

I'm excited to be back there and not have ABS issues nagging. Happy I got the experience last time despite the issues, feel somewhat prepared to go out on Tuesday and push a bit.
And to have the 996 gang there in force, weather looks to be good - couldn't ask for more !
ETA - Sick thumbnail with the Lightning - badass

The picture price for SCDA seems a bit outrageous to me - the dude takes some good shots though... Saw he caught MA Aaron with one of the fronts in the air coming over the hill.
