@ theprf ..what happened to your motor? "it blew up" isn't detailed/good enough. Did you suck a Chevy into your Turbo or something? lol

Aaron (theprf) is indeed an accomplished and experienced driver. In addition to being fast, he is entirely predictable and deliberate with his actions on track, courteous and safe.

He was the perfect person for the event chair to speak to with regards to the assessment of participants.

No damage to the 911 - it was 46 miles away at home.
My VW Corrado's VR6 finally packed it in. I guess 70 to 80 track days running supercharged at 150% rated power, with R-comps pulling 1.1G in the corners, with oil temps at 320F was too much. I thought it blew a head gasket, now I think it's got a cracked head or cylinder. Luckily it's a $250 engine so I can install another without too much financial hit.

Uh, OK. Here's a short video clip of a good lap where Jason makes an appearance. This was after I cut through all the traffic, which took 7 laps. My VW's about the same straight line speed as Jason's 996. It will be obvious that #1 I can't put the power down in corners despite having a limited slip diff and #2 I can't manage anything like the cornering ability of Jason's car, which is not surprising because I'm driving essentially a 1985 VW Golf complete with a beam rear axle.
If you can ignore the squealing NT05's on my car, you can tell Jason's car sounds pretty good. Man those NT05's are the LOUDEST 200 treadwear tires in the universe; they're slippery too. Do not recommend.

Was that a recent TNIA?
I was on wait list, then the green light to go came the night before, so I couldn't make it.
I really want to get to Pocono for TNIA soon, only about 90 miles.

no it was Motorsport Enthusist or MoE. Havent done a tnia they look a little too crazy, unregulated, to me. To be honest pocano clockwise was not that great

Still cannot travel to WA to get to my favourite tracks, but just did an event at VIMC (Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit). It's a bit like a roller coaster, with lots of elevation change and LOTS of corners. No high speed section, 2nd and 3rd gears only. Very technical and a lot of fun.

Dude - F'n awesome, its like a drift track. Looks like tons of fun, hoping they got a pic of you hanging a wheel in the air... guessing that went down somewhere on that track.

ETA - car looks dope in the thumbnail pic - APPROVED

Haha. For sure! It was a ton of fun. Still, can't wait to get back to The Ridge in Shelton, WA. Car is running awesome BTW. So happy with the new sway bars and the numeric cables. Girodiscs coming next

Thanks man. It's been a "work in progress" for 8 years now.
