The pieces you're holding and deletes for the posts that lock the rear seat backs. Thinking that kit at a quarter of the total Suncoast price makes it worth my while.
For that price I’ll buy one for a spare.

Ok sweet thanks for the info. I’ve never actually sat on or have been close to really look at a 996 GT3 so this is all new to me.
Quick update, I started a thread a while back about other brake options. Martin's kit is worth the money and a solid investment but my calipers were pretty beat up so it was a bandaid since I really needed front brakes. Instagram is a wild place and sometimes you can sift through the butt models and find some good people that aren't on here in regards to the Pcar world. Long story short I found someone who makes a bracket to mount a 6 piston GT caliper onto a C2 without the GT carrier/uprights. It'll use GT4 380mm rotors and the parts list is included with the brackets. This will be a long term project but figured I'd put it up here.

These spacers are identical in function to mountain bike brakes - change from 2 piston to 4 piston calipers and use of spacers to change from 160 → 180 → 203mm discs. I'd wager these will work great.
I am loving the innovation we are seeing with new solutions coming to the market for our cars.
Looks like the old providers need to innovate and up their game. Competition is a good thing!

I was thinking the same thing and the person who made them has a 996.2 GT3 in Germany.

On that note, the same person told me that the Turbo Big Red rear set up will bolt up to my C2 which will complete the set up. I still have a couple things I'd like to finish and as I get the parts I'll update the thread but maybe someone who's reading might want more info. Still looking for a set of Brides BUT I did stumble across a set of JDM Bride Vorgas in black with a carbon shell, unfortunately they haven't been made for some time so they're going to be a used set. There's a dude on IG that lives in Thailand that imports JDM seats, so far my friends have had 100% service from him and he actually undervalues the condition sometimes.
Those are the last ones he sold for $3500 and he recently sold a set of red carbons. Oddly enough he’s also a P car driver and drives a black on black 987.

The brackets arrived to my buddy’s shop and no begins the arduous process of piecing the kit together. For now I’ll keep the OZs on the car and shelve the CCW C14 project until next year so I can focus on redoing the suspension and begin cleaning up the fender area as well as the engine compartment. Some of the frunk trim pieces look a little weathered so that’ll have to be addressed at some point. Side note, have you guys ever wondered what a Tropical Storm looks like at sea?
That massive cloud accumulation is TS Fred… we sailed around it.
Went over the 380mm Rotor 6 Piston GT3/RS set up and this is what it would cost if you purchased everything brand new from ECS with the exception of the rotors, I got that price off of their site.
You can get that number down to about 3500.00 with OEM style rotors and used calipers which is a tinge less than a 6 piston kit from Brembo. The price isn't terrible but my calipers are beat to hell(as they should be... because race car) and will eventually need to refresh everything. I should have everything pieced together by next summer since I'll be gone again for about 6 months starting in Jan. The other upgrade would be the rear and probably just go with a set of big reds(996 turbo or C4S) as I was told they'll bolt in to include the ebrake cable. The current set up is fantastic and def does a better job of stopping, more capable than I would ever be on a track but it'll just be better swap everything. Rears will also have a Giro Disk two piece set up.
Be careful a lit of 18" wheels wont fit over the 380mm set up.
im running 996 gt3 uprights with 6 pot, 350mm fronts. It is plenty to stop my piggish 3450lb car(with me in it) from 130 to 40mph and kick in the abs. U dont need any more for sub 400hp and out weight. Honestly any more then 996 turbo brakes r a waste of money, even for track duty.
