Oddly enough I have a very simple watch collection. I got rid of all my higher end pieces with the exception of a Oris Titan which in bigger picture watch brand a entry level professional watch. I do have a lot of random Seikos which are great watches. There’s only one or two high end watches that I’d enjoy and they’re 44.5mm Rolex DSSD and a IWC Big Pilot with a red sweeping hand which is vintage now. I have a Marine Master 300m on my watch radar and a Orfina Milirary(Og Porsche Design).
I like the Oris as well as what's on your hit list. Advertisers have figured out the connection between cars, guns and watches. Seems that there is a group of folks like us that appreciate the mechanical engineering aspect of all three categories. You may need to consider an IWC Portuguese to add a chronograph to time your laps the old fashioned way.

I’d get into watches if I could stop spending all my disposable income on cars and guns... I think you hit the nail on the head though Glenn - for those into elegant and interesting mechanical design - they suit each other very well.

For real.
I get you, I love exposed backs or heart beat watches… I can stare that them all day. Guns are outrageous right now so cars are my go to.
I really really wanted a Panerai PAM112!

Got around to installing Martin’s front brake upgrade since it needed brakes badly. Luckily all the bolts came out without snapping and I got to really look at the system which is nice. The install was very straightforward and Martin’s kit is of high quality so I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade for less than you might think. I ended up using OEM pads and Sebro rotors, should probably get all the clips and shims after inspecting everything but it was still serviceable. The weather in Miami has been absolutely terrible which is delaying a good wash and better pics of the set up.
For those who are curious about a Quickjack… go get one. It set up in 45mins and my 7000SLX fit under the 996 perfectly. For reference, I used tall blocks and my particular car has a M030 suspension, it fit without any issues at all.

I know, they're not even close. It was a given to me by an Apple investor which was very kind. Don't know that I would purchase one myself. I work with my hands all day so it gets in the way. Still seems weird answering the phone and talking through my watch.
