BaT is the place to bring em'. A little over a week ago more love for C2....04' Targa with 2,000 miles....$53K + fees. Interesting, low mile, low production (relatively) 996's are bringing the $. I have to say...if I was sitting on something like either of these cars....I'd be strongly tempted to sell. But who am I kidding, I like to drive em' too much so I wouldn't have one to bring to market that would command that kind of $.
I watched the final 5 minutes or so, because the auction kept rewinding to 2 minutes as the two participants were out bidding each other. On the threads while watching there were many comments on how the 996 passed 997's then 997 4's then 997's 4s, it was amazing. My kids will be extremely happy.
I consider that smarter buyers and dumb sellers...the inverse of bat. Bat numbers are stupid. There are much better cars than the 996 available for what people are paying on bat (if better=performant)
