I kind of perceive 911 generations selling in “waves” based on their depreciation/ appreciation curve.
The $70K - $100K “wave” already broke for 964, next one won’t arrive for a while.
The $30K - $50K wave for standard 996 is crashing ashore right now. C4S, & 1999 almost finished, then Coupes, and finally all the Tips & Cabs rushing through just behind.
Next $50K - $70K 996 wave won’t be for a long while. This thread will go dark soon.
And IMO if bore scoring can be contained 997.2 will be the next tsunami (but Jake’s jury is still out deliberating on that one
With respect, what are you even saying any more? This is just speculative nonsense, and it doesn't help the case for either drivers or collectors.
The phrase "Stop trying to make x happen" comes to mind. It's just too much, man.
Also, if Jake Raby told me the sky was blue, I'd still verify it. I was over that guy 15 seconds into the first video I saw him in.

I guess the only thing that can be said objectively, if we're not allowing opinions any more, is that there are no more 964's on BaT because nobody submitted any for sale.

Clearly BaT is just restricting listings because they want to project the image of a tightening float in 964s.
Yup, saw that one. Keep in mind that is asking price, so I assume that it will sell for less. I do see some asking for much more, but I just don't see them getting that kind of money. Values in Canada just have not done anything like they have in the US. At least according to what I am seeing in Kijiji.
