Prices Keep Drifting Up

Is anything on BaT not "well bought and sold!"?

I think we briefly touched on it above but personally I think it did well for the mileage but could have done better as it was a nice spec. I think had the seller been more involved and did a better job presenting the car with better photos this could have fetched $2-$3k more before fees. Targas are very cool in my book. Just my opinion.
My first Porsche. I've shopped 996's for years but never made a purchase. Until now. Still getting to know this site, but I'll be around.

Most cars are "well sold" on BaT IMO

Well sold these days, especially.

Always a bit surprised when I see a car pop on BaT or CaB that looks like it wasn't even cleaned that well before listing. Makes no sense to me but what do I know.

It's surprising to me as well. Not everyone is mechanically inclined but I feel like anyone is able to get a bucket of water and soap and give the car a wash. To me it shows how the owner cared, or not cared for the car.

I think that's an indication of people trying to jump on the current pricing bandwagon for a quick buck.

“True” unicorns typically do phenomenally well on BaT. That’s the point:

My car is supposedly a "one year" only color for the 986/996 (it was available for a couple years for 993s, and one year each for the 928 and 968). It would be cool to know just how many 996s were sold in Iris Blue Pearl in 2000

Or at least take the floor mats out and shake the fruit loops off of them before you snap a pic.

I'm probably too cheap to really be cut out for P-car ownership haha.
I swear this data is out there, although I may just be thinking of the pie chart I saw for the 996 GT3.
