i think we might see some drop but I don’t know if we will see the same deals we use to.

This thread will continue to track the drift up, plateau, or decline, wherever the data points.

Someone really wanted an aero. Anyway to me it seems to much of a risk plus is not a stick shift. To each his own.

I’m thinking $26996 since that other C4 silver/red aero with a questionable motor went for $28k. I think the accidents will count against this one.

Wow, that is a lot for something that could potentially be a paperweight.

I realize it’s a minty car otherwise, but crazy.

I bought two white Aeros as parts cars, but this auction has made me reconsider my plans for them. They each have 200k on them, but may be worth selling as is.

Have you created a chart to track the trend?

That might be a good option [sell as-is]. Buy low, sell high, but if not, ‘an item bought well is half sold.’ While it takes a good deal of effort to take pictures, market them, and list, it might be worth seeing what they will go for.

The 40AE car listed below was just posted on the dealers website about a week or two ago with an asking price of $59,995. It is now sold. I don't know the sale price, but given how quickly it sold and the current market for cars overall, I doubt the dealer budged very much from asking price. I would GUESS they got at least $58K for it if not full asking. Granted this car is an exceptional example, but a year ago this would have been maybe a mid to high $40K car tops.
