I think I'll start assembly next Monday.

I think you'll want one of these after I add the "No Mobil 1" logo..

I want it all, but line in the sand I drew was crossed and I now need to be careful...

You got it all... Every R- Series comes with everything. There’s no choice!

And every other component within the entire engine. You aren't buying R- Series parts at Pelican, or on Amazon. This isn't the engine for someone that wants those kinds of experiences.. Something like an FSI Stage I, or Stage II

That said, these coil packs are higher energy, made to overcome the cylinder pressures of the R- Series, with it's higher compression ratios, and better chamber filling. Stock ones will work- they just won't last long.

Well, I'm out... I buy **** from Amazon and Pelican and if I'm honest, I quite enjoy those experiences for the most part... Thats a nice oil cap though

We are doing the coolant, and fuel caps to match also. Tired of plastic crap.

Keeping a build simple, makes ownership of it simpler. The R- Series makes up about 5% of what we build, and that's IF *I* want to work harder than normal.. I build all these myself, there's no other option. That's why the R- Series are booked out through mid 2023.

Doing that one in billet is tougher due to the way it fastens.
I hate the plastic power steering reservoirs, I'd like to make the whole damn thing from billet, they are failing way too often.

Jealousy is high! I'd settle for a miniature rod and piston to put on my keychain... but then I'd have to buy a keychain as well. Oh, the costs of these things!.
