Hoovie does zip for you... he entertains me and that's why he has a viewership. And BTW Hoovie has helped Wizard start his own channel and directs his large viewership to go and check out Wiz's channel. That's why I know about it. He's not a mooch or a bad guy. You just don't like him, and that's fine. I don't like the Beatles. Are they a bad band?

I've enjoyed the banter in this thread, and found I know many of the channels mentioned. As for Hoovie, I find him in some borderline between an automotive channel and self-deprecating tragic-comedy. It's obviously working for him, he'll be making quite a nice sideline out of it.
Regarding other interesting YT channels, I didn't hear of Heidi and Frannie's garage mentioned. It's something different given it's created by females and not just glitzy presenters but hands-on enthusiasts.
The other one I really like is Home Built By Jeff:

He's getting toward the end of a ground-up build on a 911RSR replica, some content from his 996 daily driver, a mad Ferrari-V8-engined Alfa 105 under construction, and other stuff. No BS, no hordes of people off camera doing the actual work, just him solving one problem after another with occasional star-quality cameo's by his lovely wife.
Has Project Binky been mentioned? Also great for the fabrication type stuff.

He says he wants to do it "right" this time.
But sounds like he is sticking with the LS swap, which I disagree, it's not the "right" way to do it.
That would involve having someone who knows what they're doing rebuild a flat 6 for it.
But the person I would want to send it to knows better than to touch this nightmare!
Tyler & David can certainly do it better(than the first time)...but "right"...I don't think so.

Renegade makes a kit for our cars and spent a lot if time and money putting it together. Yeh is it the best kit or is it something that u cant put together by yourself.... no, but it is complete. They r pretty tight lipped about their stuff until u buy it. Im sure they r not gonna give their stuff to an internet goof. Also im pretty sure there was nothing wrong with the kit, it was a used ls2 that they drove the **** out of till it blew.
