I’ll do it the two Rennlist methods for just $2500.

Haha. Compared to AOS it’s not bad. Hardest part was lining up the upper bent door tab on reinstall.

The hacksaw approach didn’t work for me. Ended up using a dremel to access the upper bent door tab.

The lower tab was very easy to access. I found it easiest to just remove the arm that attaches to the lower tab. That way the tab was already lined up for reinstall.

1/2 day project as a first timer.

The steps and pics were very helpful to me.

This job is punishing.

2 days after completing this my passenger side rear window regulator failed (01 cab).

996 = pain and punishment

I hear you. I found it helps to have two as one is always on a lift.

Dranon that would be a pleasure I have a place near me that’s got the best Italian food on the planet and a steakhouse that makes phenomenal beef Wellington

Really? I didn't think it was that bad all things considering. It was the first time I had touched any of this stuff on my 911 and I think it took me about 3 hours. It is a pain to get the cap off the top to release the door. What worked for me was a sawzall blade used like you would see lumberjacks on a giant tree saw back and forth. The actuator arm on the bottom tripped me up because I didn't take a pic of how it went in and it was disorienting since I was upside down. I ended up putting it on wrong and had to remove and reinstall it. I will say it's been something like 2 years and it's still holding up great.
