He's screwed. The secret to code enforcement has always been drones. The Greeks knew it, the Carthaginians knew it, now you know it.

Hopefully the drones don't get so close to realize all of my tanks are fakes...

Not Jake's...

One of my dogs has a moral objection to the flying of drones and has eaten several of mine mid-flight. My wife seems to think its funny to let Pippi out when I have a drone in the air. I've never seen a dog jump so high in my life and I have to admit its fairly funny to watch her in a frenzy when she hears those blades whirring

No - not Jake's. I can't afford real ones. I'm not making millions off the fears of suckers....

I'd like to see Pippi in action. Our silly dog, Sundae, is funny enough. She wants to bite the front bumper on the mail truck when they come up the driveway. She has plenty of other silly traits.

I did not rally it. However, I did layout the RallyCross course with it for our May event, this year. I also used it when I worked controls at one of our road rallies.

I intentionally resisted using it in competition, for the very reason I find myself in now. I didn't want to hasten the race to engine damage. I figured it would get there on its own just driving back and forth to work. Once I have a solid - known - engine, I will probably use it for RallyCross. I had been trying to coordinate a day for a photoshoot with a local photographer. The weather and timing never came together for us. It will now have to wait until the new engine is in.

All I have are pictures that I took after laying out the RallyCross course and the road rally I worked.

Okee Dokee! I'm gonna sacrifice a drone just for your entertainment:-) Haven't ever filmed it before so it may take a day or so.

Keep up the good work.

Some people avoid, or slow for dirt roads. I usually speed up.

Probably won't be able to do much on Speedy's engine this weekend. I need the pistons, pins, etc. to do the match (static) balancing. Still probably 2-3 weeks out before I'll see the block halves and the pistons. I can check the weight of the rods though. So that's on the agenda. That and swapping a rear wheel bearing on Sparky...

Here are a few shots of our silly dog (Sundae).

She likes to bury things in the house. A bag of bread disappeared off the counter a while ago. She decided it should be stored in the couch cushions and in the comfy chair.

Who, me?

We have to close the door to our bedroom; otherwise she'll end up on our bed, just as she does on all her other beds.

From a few days ago. Or was it last winter?

Did you just hijack your own thread You the man!
OK...Now you've hooked me. Nothing gets me more than "good dog" pics. My daughter often accuses me of loving the dogs more than her...what can I say, they never talk back and at least they pretend to feel bad when I catch them doing something wrong.
Here's a couple of pics from our trip to visit the kid where she lives in Moab, UT. Dogs: Pippi up front, then Buck, then Doodle. People: Wife on the right, then daughter, then daughter's useless boyfriend (can't even turn a wrench, let alone change his own oil)
Hurry up and wait--thats the story of my life. Hopefully parts arrive sooner than later.

Its a balmy 27 F degrees out, and the F doesn't stand for Fahrenheit. I made every one take their jackets off for the pic. (except the dogs)

Great stuff! Nice to see the animals. Both four-legged and two.

For you older guys that lived through, but may not remember, the 70s. (For the really old guys, it's the 60s). I found my old triple-beam in the basement. Easily precise to 0.1 grams.

I love those Ohaus triple beams. Balances are way (weigh) better than scales if used correctly. You have to be a bit more careful with center of mass on the pan, but they will give you a true mass reading over weight. I much prefer my students understand this difference. I have a triple beam that I have drawn a grid so I can locate the center of mass of the object in the center of the pan as I determine the mass of the object. Uggghh...don't you hate scientists.

Looks like Scott appropriated that one from high school while he was making some extra money as a youth But I won't rat you out to the Man.

Now if you can find the "Seal-A-Meal" you're ready to get back in business!
