New TIRES.
The car had mixed tires on it when I bought it, One new Sunitomo on the rear with mostly worn out Conti, and 07 dated Dunlops on the front.
Had a match to the Sumitomo put on the rear, and 2 new Sumitomo's on the front....HOLY S**T, what a difference....Quiet, Smooth, Soft riding...($500 total from local tire dealer, 45 minutes and they cleaned up all the old mess of stuck on tape from wheel weights)
Now for the Brake flush and Oil change.....

Booked time for wrapping. Snow is slowly starting to melt down and I can throw my Audi C5 S6 to summer storage after basic spring maintenance on my Porsche. However, decided to go a bit wild this time, and booked a time from good wrapping place to change the color of my car. I chose Hexis Satin Chrome Turquoise for the color. Will post pictures after it's done, but here's a quick photoshop I did (satin chrome is hard to create in photoshop). We will also try to create this headlight look without any covers using the wraps. Let's see how it turns out, but the guy doing to job said that it should be doable

E: Here's the original arctic silver

I'm very interested in seeing how this turns out. What is the original color?

I think the silver rim centers will look better with that color.

The car should look exactly how it was before wrapping. Might need throughout wash though. The wrap has 5 years warranty, so not going to remove it in couple years.

Yea I was thinking same but after editing couple pictures, the silver rims "fight" with tinted headlights and not tinted headlights also seem completely off with that color. However the guy who wraps the car doesn't do the rims, so I'll get to see how it looks with silver rims and can decide what I do with them
Also something a bit darker but not black could work well, matching the tinted headlights better.

Installed a new for me GT3 shift **** that really matches the Momo wheel. Both acquisitions from members here. This is a great site with awesome members.

That shift boot doesn’t look seated, you may need to press it down until the tabs snap into the clips.

Good eye. I actually noticed that from the photo and seated the frame. I also adjusted the top of the boot so it covers the bottom of the shift **** better. I was so happy with the initial result I took a quick picture. FWIW the feel of the real aluminum of this **** and rthe way it fits the hand feels better. I realize this may be in my head!

Default Got a 4 wheel alignment after putting on GT3 OEM wheels

I swapped my champion rg5 wheels with a fellow rennlist member with OEM GT3 wheels. Finally got it installaed and got a 4 wheel alignment. This concludes my “going back to stock” (or as close to it possible) project.

Not in your head.

Or, at least, if it is, it's in both of our heads -- the aluminum feels great to me too.

Those GT3 wheels look amazing!!!! Great swap! But those headlight masks? The OEM looks better IMHO. It's your car... enjoy!
